Ergon brings smiles to Girls Time Out

Ergon Energy Retail’s Customer Solutions Centre has helped brighten up the playroom at Rockhampton’s Girls Time Out Young Women’s Support Centre with the donation of Disney Character wall decorations.

“We had the decorations left over after an event we had in our offices and one of the team came up with the idea to donate the decorations instead of just throwing them away,” Zoe Seibold from the Rockhampton office said.

“The idea of donating the decorations to Girls Time Out was put forward and even from the first conversation with women at the centre, it was obvious they were so happy just to have the offer made.”

Girls Time Out Women’s Support Centre provides a range of programs to homeless and at risk of homelessness young women, including parents in the Rockhampton region.

“There’s an area for a kid’s playgroup that will be perfect to put up the Disney characters. It’s just a small gesture that will hopefully make the children’s day a bit brighter,” Zoe said.
